Growing Train Wreck
Train Wreck is easy to grow, but it can stretch more than its flowering time might suggest. Plants usually reach around 180–220 cm, so indoor growers need to plan for lots of height before bloom begins. Leave more headroom than you think you will need, especially if the plant has been allowed a longer veg period.
Start training while the branches are still flexible. Bending the main stem and spreading the side growth early helps keep the canopy lower and stops the tallest shoots from crowding the light once the flowering stretch starts. Trying to correct the shape later is much harder, as the branches become less flexible.
Outdoors, the plant benefits from support before the flowers begin gaining weight. Add stakes while the branches are still easy to position rather than waiting until they start leaning.
