Growing Godfather OG
Throughout the vegetative stage, Godfather OG develops into a bushy, medium-height plant that typically reaches 100–180 cm. Its manageable size makes it well suited to indoor grow rooms while also performing exceptionally well outdoors in warm, dry climates where it has plenty of sunlight.
A little tip that worked wonders for us, because of its natural indica shape Godfather OG responds particularly well to Low Stress Training (LST). This gently opens up the canopy and allows more light to reach developing bud sites, encouraging more even growth and helping each plant reach its full potential.
Our Godfather OG seeds are feminized, meaning they're bred to produce female, bud-producing cannabis plants so once you flip your lights to a 12/12 cycle to trigger flowering, you won't have to worry about unwanted male plants interrupting your grow. From there, most plants complete flowering in around 8–10 weeks before they're ready for harvest.
Yield Potential
One of the reasons we were keen to add Godfather OG to the MSNL catalogue was its consistently high yields which at this level is quite rare for such a potent strain. Given the right environment and a little attention throughout flowering, it consistently produces generous harvests of around 500–600 g/m² indoors, with even larger yields possible outdoors in warm, Mediterranean-style climates.

- Don't rush the cure. Godfather OG develops much more of its sweet, earthy aroma after a slow 4–8 week cure.
- Use Low Stress Training early. Opening the canopy helps light reach lower bud sites and encourages more even development across the plant.
- Keep humidity under control during late flowering. Its dense buds are worth protecting, so maintaining good airflow will help keep them in perfect condition.
- Support heavier branches towards harvest. Well-grown plants can become surprisingly weighty during the final weeks of flowering.
