Bred from a unique Cannatonic phenotype, ACDC is a balanced hybrid, most known for its extraordinary 20-1 (CBD-THC) ratio. Broadly thought of as being the foundation of the current medical hemp industry, ACDC (Alternative Cannabinoid Dietary Cannabis) was bred in 2011 as a potential dietary supplement to treat lupus.
With next-to-no intoxicating effects to the user (less than 1% THC), and all the therapeutic benefits associated with Cannabidiol (20-24% CBD), ACDC has left a lasting legacy, won several cannabis cups and truly deserves the high praise it receives.

Growing ACDC Seeds
During the vegetative stage
While ACDC will flourish in any medium, it can be a tricky growth, and not always suited for beginners. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors, but if growing outdoors, ensure it has time to finish before any sharp temperature drops.
When in the vegetative stage be sure to feed less than the recommended amount of nutrients, as a high CBD cultivar, it will be susceptible to overfeeding. High-stress training (HST) during veg will keep the canopy level, and pruning lower levels will ensure energy is focused where it's needed. ACDC is naturally bushy
